Amid the war in Ukraine, I joined a charity initiative using AI-generated NFT art to raise funds for those affected. My work focused on branding, visual identity, and launching the project on Product Hunt to maximize exposure. The project sold 1,991 NFTs, with all proceeds donated to Dobro.ua and Unchain.fund, supporting children and war-affected communities.

Overview

We developed an AI model, similar to OpenAI’s DALL-E, that generated heroic-style digital art based on war-related themes. These artworks were minted as NFTs, serving as both a fundraising tool and a symbol of resilience. I led the brand design, ensuring a strong, cohesive identity that resonated emotionally. From social media storytelling to UI/UX design for the NFT marketplace, my role was to craft a visually compelling and trustworthy presence that attracted supporters.

The Challenge

Launching an NFT project with a strong humanitarian focus in an oversaturated market posed significant challenges. It was crucial to develop a clear and emotionally resonant brand identity that would connect with an international audience while also fostering trust and engagement through effective social media storytelling. Transparency and credibility were key to encouraging donations and NFT purchases.

The Solution

To address these challenges, I focused on creating a cohesive branding and identity strategy that emphasized heroism and resilience. Social media content was carefully curated to highlight the stories behind the AI-generated artworks and the charities involved, ensuring a compelling narrative that resonated with potential supporters. The Product Hunt launch was strategically planned to introduce the project to a community of early adopters and tech enthusiasts, helping to build traction and credibility. Additionally, collaboration with Web3 influencers and activists played a pivotal role in spreading awareness and driving NFT sales.

The Result

The initiative sold 1,991 NFTs, raising significant funds for humanitarian aid. A strong design foundation helped build credibility and engagement, leading to a successful Product Hunt launch and widespread support. This project demonstrated how AI, blockchain, and thoughtful design can drive real-world impact, using digital art as both a storytelling tool and a force for good.
